Protecting your data matters to me. This policy describes which personal data is processed when visiting and using lasca.eu (Art. 13 GDPR).

1. Account and sign-in

On registration I process username, e-mail address and a password (stored exclusively as a cryptographic hash). Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract). This data is needed to store and rate games and to protect access to your account.

2. Games and rating

Your games (moves, result, Elo rating, timestamps) are stored to provide the game history, the leaderboard and Elo calculation. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

3. Server log files

When the website is accessed, the web server stores technically necessary log data (date, requested page, browser type). This serves error fixing and defence against attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). There is no evaluation for marketing purposes.

4. Anonymous visitor counting

For a rough reach measurement, lasca.eu calls a counting pixel of the tactara.eu platform. This counting is anonymous and server-side; IP addresses are not stored permanently. No cookies are set and no profiles are built (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

5. Disclosure

Personal data is not disclosed to third parties – with one exception: username, e-mail address and game ID are transferred to the central games platform tactara.eu so that cross-platform bans can be enforced (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To delete your account, simply e-mail kontakt@lasca.eu.

7. Retention and deletion

Account data is stored as long as the account exists. After a deletion request, account and game references are deleted; games remain in the history in anonymised form. Log data is deleted after 14 days at the latest.

8. Cookies

lasca.eu uses strictly necessary session cookies only (sign-in, CSRF protection). There is no tracking; see the cookie notice for details.
